Welcome home: SARRIA MINI*

Yesterday the boyfriend came home from work and brought me a little surprise "just because". 

I thought it was necessary to quickly share it because IT'S A SPANKING NEW LOUIS VUITTON PURSE!! <3
It is also my very first LV item ^_____^

OMG. At first I was lost for words, but now I can't even contain my excitement. 

This is my Sarria Mini in damier ebene. I believe this style is now retired as Louis Vuitton had terminated the production of this bag. My hubby found her brand new for an awesome price.

I like the fact that this style is discontinued because 1. There's a slim chance that I'll ever bump into anyone with the same bag as me and 2. It's like carrying a rare piece that you know others cannot easily get :) I am seriously so happy about getting this purse! The more I look at her the more I fall in love ^__^ 

On another note, it was really sweet of Eric to surprise me out of the blue :$.. Originally I was saving up for a Tivoli PM as my first LV bag (which I will still pursue), but he beat me to it and got me my first LV bag instead. When giving it to me, he said "I know this is not the one you wanted originally, but just use it for now".. OF COURSE I WILL USE IT lol :D 

I feel super loved & grateful to have such a hardworking hubby who always spoils me with surprises <3 You'll probably never read this blog but thank you hunny I love you <3

Goodies

Spring is here - which means it's time to clean out your room (maybe donate some old stuff) and update your wardrobe for the sunny weather to come.

Recently, one of my girlfriends posted a picture of her new Nike kicks on Instagram which I fell in love with immediately.

They're called the Nike Sky High Dunks, and it's available for $150 at your local Aritzia.

These dunks actually have concealed wedges in them, giving you an extra couple inches in height.

Being 4'11", I freaked out a bit and went and ordered myself a pair the next day!

I got a pair in white (and it has a beautiful snake skin pattern to it), but Aritzia also carries a lot of other colours as well. I've really been loving these new Nike dunks lately and I can't wait to pair it with my spring outfits. The only flaw with these are that they are a bit tight around the pinky toe area, so walking in them for a long period of time will cause it to rub against my toe and cause discomfort. I recommend going up half a size.

Another thing I've really been digging lately are these Pandora charm bracelets! They're absolutely adorable and a great sentimental piece. I know I'm a little late on the whole "charm bracelet hype", but back then before I had a job I found the whole concept kind of pricey (well I still do honestly).

Last month, I went shopping in Edmonton with my girlfriend Jana and we came across a free bracelet promotion at Pandora. If you spend over $125, you get a free bracelet along with it (don't quote me on this, but I think Pandora has these types of promotions every year).

Jana and I decided to spoil each other for once, since we finally both have jobs now and we weren't exactly sure when we would see each other next. It soon became an addiction and my awesome bf also contributed a few charms to it :)
